The Brisbane Lions were agonising close to another premiership in season 7. However, season 8 boasts a formidable challenge, with the loss of Emily Bates, Greta Bodey and Jesse Wardlaw. Thankfully the Lions recruiting was on the money, managing to sign two former Gold Coast Suns in Ellie Hampson and Jade Pregelj as more than capable replacements.
Ellie and Jade were kind enough to jump onto the podcast for a chat with Will and Liam, to talk about their pretty hectic offseasons, the differences between the Suns and Lions, and the extremely talented roster at the Lions.
